BUILDING THE TEAM TO HELP DEMOCRATS WIN

ORGANIZING CORPS 2020 recruits first-time organizers and trains them on the skills they need to get a paid, full-time job working on the 2020 Democratic Presidential campaign to help put a Democrat in the White House and win up and down the ticket on November 3, 2020.

Organizing Corps 2020 launched in February 2019 to recruit, train and compensate 1,000 new organizers in eight battleground states—Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin—to work on the 2020 general election and help Democrats win up and down the ticket.

There are currently no additional trainings planned for 2020, but if you are interested in staying up-to-date on future career opportunities or supporting Democrats this fall, please join the DNC Talent Bank, sign-up to volunteer or make a donation.

WIN BACK THE WHITE HOUSE
This is the most important election of our lifetime. But to take back the White House and win up and down the ticket on November 3, 2020, Democrats will need a talented and passionate team of well-trained, local, diverse organizers—like you—in key battleground states, ready to problem-solve and reach voters no matter what our rapidly changing world throws at us. Organizing Corps 2020 is building that team today.

I feel like I got the bug from this program. I saw so much personal growth throughout this program, but also saw impact (no matter how small) in the communities I was able to work in.

The margins that we can win or lose by in 2020 are field margins, or margins that we, the 30 [Milwaukee corps members] this summer, could potentially make up.

My learning experience has been monumental over the last 8-weeks. I learned how to organize for grassroots campaigns […] through phone banking, canvassing, volunteer recruitment and so much more.

Jordan B.
Philadephia, PA

I learned the skills and tools needed to successfully engage voters and volunteers to get them excited for the 2020 election. I was able to hold a leadership role in guiding volunteers, even assisting my peers with Votebuilder, and working with other community leaders.

My learning experience with Organizing Corps changed my life. It was such a comprehensive learning experience and I feel so prepared for the future — both with life and my career. OC has given me every skill I need to organize in the future as well as relationships that I will carry with me for life.
